Location: Washington, DC, USA; hybrid schedule requiring at least four days per week in the office

Salary: $120,000–$130,000 per year, bonus eligible

What you will do

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, monthly close, headcount reporting, and financial analysis for the P&L and balance sheet.
• Analyze financial results, KPIs, revenue pacing, rate and volume performance, and programming metrics for the local television market.
• Partner with station general management, department heads, sales leadership, headquarters finance, and controllership teams to guide decisions.
• Oversee accounting processes, expense analysis, capital investment planning, audits, and process improvement initiatives.
• Manage and develop a Senior Financial Analyst while coordinating reporting, special projects, and executive presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 8+ years of experience in finance, public accounting, or operations.
• Experience leading support staff and influencing strategic decisions in a global environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP and working knowledge of accounts payable, general ledger, and scheduling systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP/AOE/BPC, including data analysis and manipulation.
• Ability to work from the Washington, DC office at least four days per week and work longer hours when necessary.

• Experience in the media and entertainment industry.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience interpreting contractual elements and applying them to business operations.
• Strong process improvement, change management, communication, and stakeholder leadership skills.
