Manager Budgets & Finance

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; hybrid schedule with in-office visibility three days per week and remote work two days per week. Relocation is not provided, and visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Base pay: $102,000–$184,300 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Manage a team of financial analysts supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial metric analysis.
• Lead cost containment, resource planning, financial strategy, reporting, and forecasting activities.
• Manage financial initiatives, goals, objectives, and accounting and invoicing processes.
• Oversee IT equipment and software capital planning and financial management.
• Support Enterprise Portfolio Management through financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, and estimation.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers and present financial insights to large groups.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or Finance with six years of corporate accounting or financial experience, or nine years of direct experience.
• At least four years of experience leading, supervising, and developing teams.
• Two years of planning and budgeting experience.
• Knowledge of investment valuation techniques, including ROI, TCO, NPV, EVA, and RBC.
• Financial and resource modeling expertise, strong business acumen, analytical problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle Financial Suite.

Nice to have

• MBA, CPA, advanced finance or accounting certifications, or IT finance and technology certifications.
• Experience with Apptio, Enterprise IT Management platforms, Alteryx, SQL, data analysis, reporting, and BI tools.
• Advanced financial and statistical modeling experience.
• Experience with supplier governance and sourcing negotiations.
