Resource Manager-Budget/Finance

Location: On-site at Headquarters Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Hampton, Virginia, United States. Occasional CONUS travel may be required.

Salary: $1–$100,000 annually. Actual compensation depends on experience, education, skills, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Provide budgeting and accounting expertise for resource allocation and financial execution of Air Combat Command operations.
• Prepare capital investment funding plans, workforce assessments, resource management studies, weighted assessments, and cost analyses.
• Integrate tasks throughout the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution cycle and support program-budget activities, schedules, and meetings.
• Establish management controls over obligations and expenditures and recommend alternatives for addressing funding shortages.
• Prepare detailed plans, budgets, and schedules in accordance with DoD Financial Management Regulations and Air Force financial management publications.
• Coordinate with HAF, NSA, DIA, and other MAJCOM financial management personnel while supporting planning, testing, integration, and sustained operations.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) is required.
• 3–10 years of relevant experience.
• BA/BS degree.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Air Force financial management tactics, techniques, and procedures, including the Commanders Resource Integration System, Automated Business Services System, and DEAMS.
• Ability to use related systems including CMS, DTIMS, EDA, FMSuite, and FMSuite ODA.
