Superintendent - Multifamily

Construction services organization delivering multifamily building projects from field execution through owner acceptance.

What you will do

• Supervise construction projects and coordinate field construction teams, subcontractors, and direct-hire work.
• Enforce safety procedures, participate in safety training, and maintain compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain CPM schedules, coordinate materials and tools, and manage supply allotments.
• Set quality-control standards, review drawings and specifications, and resolve construction issues.
• Prepare project reports, verify subcontractor insurance certificates, and manage meetings and documentation.
• Complete punchlists, startup testing, final closeout, and turnover for owner acceptance.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience including four years as an Assistant Superintendent.
• Extensive field construction experience at a supervisory level.
• Current Safety Trained Supervisor certification, or ability to obtain it within six months of hire and maintain active certification.
• Working knowledge of construction trades and specifications, with prior experience as a foreman, journeyman, or project engineer.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws, scheduling, planning, expediting, and cost control.
• Strong problem-solving ability and sense of urgency; availability to travel and supervise multiple projects across a large geographic area.
