Maintenance Technician (Building Maintenance)

Location: Onsite in Raleigh, NC, USA

Salary: $22.00–$26.00 per hour, with potential quarterly customer service satisfaction bonuses of up to $250 per month.

What you will do

• Complete basic apartment turns and prepare units for new residents.
• Respond to resident service requests and perform routine repairs and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair or replace plumbing, electrical components, HVAC equipment, appliances, and other building systems.
• Provide technical direction and training to other Maintenance Technicians when needed.
• Assist with vendor quality management and move-in/move-out inspections.
• Adapt maintenance responsibilities to team skills, community needs, mechanical systems, and seasonal requirements.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in facilities or building environments.
• Proficiency in at least two technical trades, such as plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, or carpentry.
• Ability to work onsite in Raleigh, NC, with flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, seven-day work weeks, and on-call shifts.
• Reliable transportation for emergency after-hours service requests during on-call periods.
• Ability and willingness to perform physical work and move heavy equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
