Maintenance Technician - Avens Point

Location: Avens Point, Thornton, Colorado, USA; onsite

Salary: $22.00–$25.00 per hour, plus potential quarterly customer service satisfaction bonuses of up to $1,500.

What you will do

• Complete basic apartment turns and prepare units for new residents.
• Respond to resident service requests and perform routine maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair or replace plumbing, basic electrical components, HVAC equipment, appliances, and other building systems.
• Provide technical direction and training to other Maintenance Technicians when needed.
• Assist with vendor quality management and move-in/move-out inspections.
• Provide reliable resident service while adapting to community needs, mechanical systems, and seasonal requirements.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in facilities or building environments.
• Proficiency in at least two technical trades, such as plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, or carpentry.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, seven-day work weeks, and on-call shifts of at least one week per month.
• Reliable transportation for emergency service requests during after-hours on-call shifts.
• Ability and willingness to perform physical work and move heavy equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
