Senior Cost Accounting Analyst

Location: Easton, Pennsylvania, United States; full-time onsite at the corporate headquarters

What you will do

• Perform annual standard cost updates for U.S. manufacturing sites and analyze monthly bill-of-material changes.
• Maintain work center and router rates, update intercompany component transfer pricing, and support standard cost integrity.
• Cost new product launches throughout the development cycle in partnership with operations, engineering, FP&A, and supply chain.
• Complete month-end closing activities, including absorption analysis, journal entries, and production reconciliations.
• Prepare weekly production figures, cost-related financial reports, and ad hoc analyses for business decisions.
• Support physical inventories, financial audits, internal controls, and manufacturing-costing compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in cost accounting or manufacturing finance.
• Proficiency in absorption accounting and managerial accounting principles, with strong GAAP and IFRS knowledge.
• Experience with medium-to-large, multi-site manufacturing organizations.
• Experience with ERP systems such as AS400 or Infor M3, plus strong Excel and data-analysis skills.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment.

Nice to have

• MBA, CMA, CPA, or another relevant certification.
• Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as QlikView or QlikSense.
• Experience with process improvement or ERP system transitions.
