Production Lead

Location: Onsite at 6300 Katella Ave, Cypress, California, USA. Full-time, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM shift; Tuesday and Wednesday off.

Hourly rate: $24.62–$32.83 per hour.

What you will do

• Run assigned and trained Service Bureau equipment and perform laser printing functions according to daily schedules.
• Guide associates and make production decisions when the Production Supervisor is absent.
• Coordinate customer directives, deliveries, changes, emergencies, data issues, and special files with supervisors, customer service, and production staff.
• Use the ERP system to record time and materials accurately while minimizing waste and raw-material misuse.
• Monitor print quality through sampling and inspection, arrange equipment service calls, and maintain inventory and pre-printed materials.
• Ensure timely receipt of customer data and support distribution, machine-room, and other assigned production functions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, four years of job-related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Ability to stand and use hands for more than two-thirds of the workday.
• Ability to reach with hands and arms and lift 25–50 pounds for one-third to two-thirds of the workday.
• Color vision sufficient to identify and distinguish colors for quality control.
• Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment during the scheduled afternoon/evening shift.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and use hearing protection, safety glasses, and other required PPE around noise, chemicals, inks, and coatings.
