Production Leader (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate the nightly activities of production workers, including task assignment, guidance, motivation, and mentoring.
• Allocate labor, equipment, and materials to support production plans and meet output targets.
• Monitor quality-control processes and investigate production or quality issues.
• Enforce safety protocols, conduct safety training and audits, and recommend improvements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.
• Maintain inventory levels, coordinate with inventory control, and report productivity, quality, and efficiency metrics to management.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in production or manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production management software and systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain 608 Universal refrigerant certification.
