Location: Westminster, Colorado, United States; on-site. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, conditional residents, asylees, refugees, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations under space technology export regulations.

What you will do
- Lead systems engineering activities across spacecraft and aerospace product lifecycles, from concept development through launch and mission operations.
- Analyze and decompose customer, mission, and system-level requirements while maintaining end-to-end traceability.
- Define system interfaces, support architecture development and technical trade studies, and manage configuration and engineering changes.
- Develop verification and validation strategies, verification configurations, traceability matrices, and evidence packages.
- Coordinate system integration, testing, readiness reviews, launch activities, simulations, and mission certification.
- Direct spacecraft operations, including commissioning, routine operations, anomaly response, and end-of-life activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, systems, electrical, mechanical, or computer engineering, physics, or a related technical discipline.
- Advanced knowledge of systems engineering principles, spacecraft architecture, and the systems development lifecycle.
- Experience with requirements, interfaces, systems integration, configuration management, verification and validation, and technical risk management.
- Experience supporting spacecraft mission planning, launch campaigns, mission operations, anomaly resolution, and on-orbit operations.
- Experience with requirements management tools such as Jama or IBM DOORS and MBSE tools such as CATIA Magic/Cameo or MagicDraw.
- Experience supporting aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated engineering programs, with strong analytical and communication skills.
