Production Planning Scheduler (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules for assigned process areas or product lines.
• Monitor work-in-progress levels and adjust schedules to improve throughput and cycle time.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and capacity constraints.
• Analyze production data and trends, identify delivery risks, and recommend schedule adjustments.
• Communicate schedule changes and priorities to operations and support teams.
• Maintain records in manufacturing execution systems and planning tools while supporting new product introductions, tool installations, process changes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of related experience, an advanced degree without experience, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with semiconductor fab operations and process flows.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, capacity planning, and inventory control principles.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle and production scheduling tools.
• Strong analytics, communication, detail orientation, cross-functional collaboration, Microsoft Excel, and planning software skills.
