What you will do
- Translate production plans into detailed, time-phased finite schedules by SKU, line, shift, hour, and minute.
- Create process-order sequences that account for asset constraints, labor availability, changeover logic, and capacity.
- Monitor schedule adherence, service risks, ATP commitments, line fill rate, and production attainment.
- Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, S&OP, and S&OE teams to resolve delays and execution gaps.
- Model the impact of equipment failures, urgent orders, downtime, and other unplanned events, recommending schedule adjustments.
- Maintain scheduling master data and support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of production scheduling or planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of MRP and capacity planning.
- Knowledge of global supply chain, production control, lean methods, and inventory reduction techniques.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and computer skills.
- Ability to influence cross-functional partners without direct authority; SAP experience and APICS certification are preferred.
