Oversight Program and Continuous Improvement Analyst (Environmental Management): Developing and implementing oversight programs and continuous improvement initiatives for a regulated nuclear cleanup environment with an accent on Lean/Six Sigma, process mapping, metrics, and corrective actions. Focus on building DOE process improvement dashboards, analyzing operational data, and supporting compliance and mission assurance across Hanford programs.

Location: Richland, Washington, United States; work is conducted predominantly on-site at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site, with some remote support subject to approval.

What you will do

  • Develop and implement oversight programs for the Hanford Field Office.
  • Facilitate Lean and Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Track performance metrics and develop DOE process improvement dashboards.
  • Conduct process mapping and root cause analysis.
  • Prepare oversight documentation and implement corrective actions.
  • Support compliance, operational efficiency, and mission assurance across multidisciplinary environmental management programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 6–10+ years of continuous improvement or quality experience.
  • Experience supporting program and project management activities.
  • Process mapping, root cause analysis, and data analysis skills.
  • Analytical rigor, adaptability, coaching ability, and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work predominantly on-site at the Hanford Field Office in Richland, Washington.

Nice to have

  • Department of Energy or Environmental Management sector experience.
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification.
  • Quality or continuous improvement certification.
  • Experience with federal or regulated environments.
