Director, Business Process Improvement

Location: Remote - Virginia, United States

Salary: $125,000–$165,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Lead and scale the enterprise Business Process Improvement capability through repeatable frameworks, methodologies, governance, and tools.
• Analyse current-state processes, identify root causes, and design target-state processes and practical improvements.
• Deliver and oversee initiatives that improve efficiency, quality, and organisational performance.
• Define KPIs and metrics to demonstrate process performance and measurable business impact.
• Lead and develop a small specialist team, building capability and consistency.
• Partner with business units, technology, finance, and programme management on automation, digital enablement, and process optimisation.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading business process improvement, operational excellence, or process transformation initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Experience building, establishing, or scaling a process improvement capability, framework, or operating model.
• Practical knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, or BPM methodologies.
• Experience analysing complex processes, identifying root causes, and leading redesign or optimisation.
• Experience leading and developing people, managing stakeholders across multiple business areas, and working with technology teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
