Driver's Education Instructor

Location: Bangor, Maine, USA; full-time, onsite position.

Salary: USD 51,000–USD 52,000 per year

What you will do

• Create a positive, disciplined classroom environment that supports student motivation and learning.
• Deliver and individualize the driver's education curriculum based on students' experiences.
• Prepare classrooms, lesson plans, reports, attendance records, evaluations, and other required documentation.
• Evaluate and record student progress and case notes in CIS where appropriate.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and accountability for staff, students, and property.
• Follow safety practices, operational procedures, and required staff training expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Maine driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Class A Maine Driver's Education Instructor License.
• Experience working with diverse youth.
• Ability to communicate clearly and model appropriate customer service and employability skills.
