What you will do

• Manage the classroom and create an effective learning environment.
• Deliver competency-based, computer-assisted, and cooperative learning instruction.
• Maintain relevant lesson plans and develop innovative, interactive training for students.
• Coordinate with the academic department on integrated learning opportunities.
• Support students with job placement, military, college, post-secondary education, and primary credential pathways.
• Develop industry partnerships for work-based learning, internships, and job placement outcomes.

Requirements

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least two years of related experience.
• Ability to interpret business, professional, technical, and government materials.
• Ability to prepare reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts including probability, statistical inference, and proportions.
• For National Trade Council instruction, certification by a union, trade organization, or national trade certifying organization is required.

Nice to have

• Valid state driver’s license.
• Vocational trade certification or experience.
