1st Shift Quality Inspector

Location: West Chester, Ohio, United States; onsite, full-time, 1st shift

Salary: USD 17.50–27.00 per hour

What you will do

• Select and package product samples for shipment.
• Visually inspect random samples during or after production for defects such as torn pages, incomplete cuts, incorrect bindings, color issues, and contamination.
• Follow inspection checklists and quality standard operating procedures, recording identified defects.
• Prepare written reports and notify manufacturing management about known or discovered defects.
• Identify potential quality issues and work with department leads or management to determine solutions.
• Assist with special projects, complex customer orders, and disposition of defective or non-conforming products.

Requirements

• Two or more years of quality control or quality assurance experience in a printing environment.
• Good knowledge of administrative and manufacturing procedures and job-specific processes.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for explaining quality policies, methods, and procedures.
• Very good organizational skills and the ability to meet established deadlines.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
