Quality Technician - 1st Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Blaine, Minnesota, United States; 1st shift

Compensation: $23.90–$44.40 per hour, with potential additional compensation depending on the position.

What you will do

• Provide quality assurance support and lead root cause problem-solving activities for products and manufacturing processes.
• Perform process validations, in-process inspections, and monitoring and analysis of manufacturing quality.
• Support design, manufacturing, and quality engineering teams with data collection, product reviews, and process capability analysis.
• Develop and maintain processes aligned with Quality Management System objectives and train personnel on QMS standards.
• Conduct internal ISO audits, support designated audit areas, and prepare documented First Article Inspection reports.
• Coordinate calibration activities for inspection, testing, and measurement equipment while collaborating with operations, engineering, supply, logistics, and customer service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience in quality or manufacturing.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, process documents, order requirements, quotes, and drawings.
• Experience using precision measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and paint mil gauges.
• Ability to identify root causes of routine problems and recommend corrective actions.
• Ability to interpret and apply Quality Systems and ISO procedures; comfortable using Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of GD&T.
• Knowledge of air conditioning equipment operation.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems and JD Edwards.
