Quality Technician - 2nd Shift

Location: Amesbury, Massachusetts, USA; onsite, 2nd shift

Pay range: $26.12–$31.31 per hour

What you will do

• Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished products using established sampling plans.
• Set up measuring equipment and fixtures to verify dimensions, angles, profiles, configurations, and visual requirements.
• Complete inspection, testing, and quality documentation in line with customer contracts and internal requirements.
• Plan First Article Inspections and prepare AS9102 FAI reports.
• Prepare products and documentation for source inspections, including Certificates of Conformity and Certificates of Analysis.
• Communicate quality discrepancies and activity status with product engineering, management, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of quality-related work experience.
• Ability to interpret engineered drawings, formulas, work orders, procedures, instructions, and specifications.
• Hands-on mechanical setup skills and experience using calipers, micrometers, height gages, radius gages, and optical measurement systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in an ISO 9001 or AS9100 facility.
