Quality Inspector (APU 3 - Third Shift)

Location: 600 Deerfield Pkwy, Buffalo Grove, Illinois, United States. Onsite, full-time position on an 8-hour third shift, Tuesday through Saturday, from 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States.

Salary: $20.00–$30.00 USD per hour

What you will do

• Inspect, test, and measure materials, products, and work for conformity with specifications.
• Read part drawings, manuals, and technical documentation to determine inspection procedures, settings, and measurement requirements.
• Use rulers, calipers, gauges, micrometers, force gauges, CMMs, and optical gauging machines to verify product dimensions.
• Review and approve lot documentation and maintain good documentation practices.
• Collect samples, analyze test data, compare product characteristics with approved standards, and identify nonconforming products.
• Prepare nonconformance, rework instruction, and deviation reports and discuss corrective actions with responsible personnel.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a quality-related role.
• Ability to use gauges, inspection fixtures, and leak-testing equipment.
• Ability to use productivity software and Statistical Process Control tools.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to stand for approximately 75% of the shift.
• Eligibility to work in the United States is required.
