Quality Inspector-2nd Shift

Location: Anoka, Minnesota, United States; onsite, Monday–Friday, 2:45 PM–11:15 PM

Compensation: $17.20–$31.90 per hour

What you will do

• Perform comprehensive product inspections using work instructions, checklists, drawings, and defined acceptance criteria.
• Use precision and non-precision gauges, meters, tools, and testing equipment to verify product conformity.
• Identify non-conforming products and initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Ensure active NCRs are resolved or addressed before completing product inspections.
• Prioritize inspection tasks with Operations Supervisors to meet departmental delivery goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to use precision measurement equipment, including calipers, micrometers, paint mil gauges, hardness testers, CMMs, measuring tables, optical comparators, and functional testers.
• Ability to interpret and apply Quality System, ISO procedures, work instructions, and related documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, planning, written and verbal communication, and self-directed work skills.
• Ability to apply math and geometry and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to use personal computers and Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.

Nice to have

• At least one year of experience in quality processes and Quality Management Systems.
• At least one year of experience using precision metal fabrication measurement tools and techniques.
