Director of HV Operations (Remote)

Location: Remote - CA; applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Salary: $176,844–$235,202 per year

What you will do

• Develop and execute the company’s high-voltage strategy in alignment with business goals.
• Identify market opportunities for high-voltage deployment across utility-scale, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to develop cost-effective solutions and business models.
• Oversee the design, construction, and commissioning of high-voltage projects while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage vendor, supplier, partner, client, conference, and regulatory relationships related to high-voltage initiatives.
• Lead and mentor high-voltage professionals while promoting safety, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in the design and/or construction of high-voltage and substation projects.
• Strategic thinking, market analysis, and the ability to develop actionable insights.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
• Knowledge of office practices, procedures, equipment, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexible scheduling and travel as needed are required; physical work may include lifting 20 or more pounds, climbing, and working near moving mechanical parts or at exposed heights.
