Senior Packaging Systems Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Forest Park, Georgia, USA; 100% onsite with minimal travel required

Salary: $75,800–$170,100 annually, depending on U.S. pay zone and location; eligible for incentive plans.

What you will do

• Lead the design, installation, commissioning, and start-up of packaging systems for new products, upgrades, and capacity improvements.
• Manage medium-scale capital projects, including scope, schedules, budgets, and resource planning.
• Provide technical leadership to Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and related cross-functional teams.
• Apply Continuous Improvement, Lean, Early Management, and TPM principles to improve performance and reliability.
• Deliver cost savings, productivity improvements, and sustainability initiatives while meeting safety, quality, regulatory, and environmental standards.
• Evaluate vendors and suppliers, analyze performance data, solve technical problems, and coach Operations and Maintenance teams.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or 10+ years of packaging or project experience.
• 5+ years of engineering experience, including capital project execution in manufacturing environments.
• Experience managing project scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and independent execution skills.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Forest Park, Georgia, USA.

Nice to have

• Experience in consumer packaged goods or manufacturing.
• Operations, maintenance, or reliability engineering background.
• Experience with 2D and 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement, Lean, or TPM methodologies.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office tools.
