Distribution Center Manager (Supply Chain)

Base pay: $97,000–$115,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead safety programs, training, coaching, performance management, recognition, and team development.
• Plan staffing, workforce flexibility, daily schedules, and contingency responses for operational disruptions.
• Direct receiving, storage, assembly, inventory replenishment, consolidation, and distribution activities.
• Monitor productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, on-time deliveries, and customer satisfaction.
• Control and maintain the distribution center building, material-handling equipment, fleet, and inventory.
• Manage the distribution center budget and ensure timely preparation of operational records and reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field, or commensurate experience.
• 8+ years of supply chain experience, including distribution center, inventory, and transportation operations.
• 6+ years of team leadership experience with demonstrated coaching and employee development skills.
• Experience with planning, staffing, budgeting, P&L, process improvement, and operational goal setting.
• Experience with WMS, TMS, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to speak and read English well enough to communicate with the public, understand road signs, answer official questions, and complete records and reports; must be at least 21 and pass a road skills test and DOT physical.
