Supply Chain Inventory Management Senior Specialist

Location: Westminster, California, US; on-site at an SCE facility or field location. The position requires up to 25% travel throughout the SCE service territory. Relocation does not apply.

Salary: $101,900–$152,800 per year.

What you will do

• Monitor and report on material supply, transportation, discrepancies, field laydown yards, and supply chain project requirements.
• Support material planning and prioritization, including sourcing and expediting critical materials with supply chain and procurement stakeholders.
• Maintain data integrity and reporting for inventory, materials movement, handling efficiency, stock levels, losses, and safety performance.
• Analyze performance issues, identify root causes, and recommend initiatives that improve operations and reduce costs.
• Prepare strategic recommendations and data-driven reports for supply chain and procurement management.
• Manage tactical supplier relationships and implement supplier performance goals.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in supply chain sourcing, supplier relationship management, and process optimization.
• Experience in supply chain, inventory management, or a related analytical role, including forecasting, demand variability analysis, and supply chain risk identification.
• Experience developing inventory stocking strategies such as safety stock, minimum/maximum levels, and service levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and lookups; Excel testing may be required.
• Experience with SAP, EWM, or similar ERP systems, including MRP parameters such as safety stock, reorder points, lot sizing, and lead times.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Production & Inventory Control, Business, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience in utility, manufacturing, or similarly complex supply chain environments.
• Experience with cross-functional projects, structured problem-solving, or project management methodologies.
• Experience consolidating and analyzing data from multiple sources to support operational decisions.
