Supply Chain Inventory Management Senior Specialist

Location: Westminster, California, US. On-site work at an SCE facility or field location, with up to 25% travel throughout the SCE service territory.

Salary: $101,900–$152,800 per year.

What you will do

• Monitor and report on material supply, transportation, discrepancies, field laydown yards, stock levels, materials movement, handling efficiency, loss reporting, and safety incident performance.
• Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, planning, field operations, and suppliers on material planning, prioritization, sourcing, and expediting critical materials.
• Maintain data integrity and operational reporting, analyze costs and performance trends, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to management.
• Conduct root cause analysis and develop initiatives for continuous improvement, operational optimization, and cost savings.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance goals using data-driven insights.
• Protect company physical, financial, cybersecurity, customer, proprietary, medical, and other sensitive information and assets.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in supply chain sourcing, supplier relationship management, and process optimization.
• Strong analytical, customer service, organizational, problem-solving, and supply chain process skills covering inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
• Knowledge of warehouse KPIs, supply chain site capacity and planning, and multi-level MRP/ERP logic.
• Ability to work with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders and support material planning and prioritization.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work on cross-functional projects and apply structured problem-solving or project management methodologies.
• Ability to protect confidential and sensitive information and company assets.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Production & Inventory Control, Business, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, or a related analytical role.
• Experience managing inventory performance, forecasting, demand variability, and supply chain risks.
• Experience developing inventory stocking strategies, including safety stock, min/max levels, and service levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and lookups, for data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
• Experience with SAP, EWM, or similar ERP systems for inventory, materials, and supply chain transactions.
• Experience maintaining MRP parameters, including safety stock, reorder points, lot sizing, and lead times.
• Experience analyzing demand signals and operational requirements to optimize MRP settings and material availability.
• Experience translating business needs into system configurations and process improvements with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in utility, manufacturing, or similarly complex supply chain environments.
• Experience mining, consolidating, and analyzing data from multiple sources for decision-making.
