Technical Trainer - Cargo (Bilingual)

Location: Edgewood, Maryland, USA; training is delivered at customer sites and may require up to 90% travel during peak periods.

Salary: $86,944–$130,416 per year, plus a Business Profit Plan and benefits.

What you will do

• Deliver operator and technical training to internal staff, service partners, and customers at customer sites and virtually when travel restrictions apply.
• Use presentations, job aids, hands-on activities, and end-of-course assessments to train audiences with different levels of technical knowledge.
• Demonstrate safety best practices, including administrative controls, engineering controls, PPE, and local site safety protocols.
• Perform Training Needs Analysis and align customer needs with training curricula.
• Review and improve training materials using Instructional Systems Design methodologies and audience feedback.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, field service, program management, and other stakeholders on training content and technical reviews.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of training experience, ideally in industry or government environments.
• High school diploma minimum; strong mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic understanding.
• Fluent verbal and written Spanish is required.
• Must be able to obtain and retain U.S. government security clearance.
• Ability to interpret equipment circuit diagrams, technical manuals, and field service bulletins.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and test equipment; lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and complete fall protection training.

Nice to have

• Active certification from an accredited training certification institute such as ATD, ACCET, or Langevin.
• French or Portuguese language skills.
