Supervisor, Production - Unit Production (Manufacturing)

Location: Longview, Texas, United States; onsite, full-time

Manufacturing organization producing goods through unit production operations.

What you will do

• Coordinate and direct daily production activities to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing.
• Analyze production documents, determine requirements, and plan work schedules.
• Coordinate operations between departments with other supervisors.
• Maintain records of employee time, production output, operating costs, and other operations data.
• Prepare shift-performance reports and implement measures to improve employee motivation, production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Request materials, supplies, equipment parts, and repair services as needed while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 3–5 years of industry experience or equivalent experience in a similar industry.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to quality detail, and decision-making ability.
• Effective communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
• Ability to build a successful team and foster trust and cooperation.
• Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing facility, including exposure to extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, chemical fumes, sharp metal objects, and forklift traffic; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform climbing, stooping, walking, and prolonged sitting.
