Supervisor, Production (Manufacturing)

Location: Louisville, KY, United States; onsite, full-time. First shift runs Monday–Friday, 4:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., with flexibility to work Fridays and additional shifts as production demands require.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a production team while reinforcing accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Execute and monitor daily production activities to meet schedules, quality standards, and customer requirements.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methods to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure the safe setup, calibration, and operation of coating lines, CNC routers, and Double End Tenoners.
• Track KPIs, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions for throughput, quality, scrap, and downtime.
• Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Shipping, and Engineering to resolve production issues and improve workflow.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Knowledge of production machinery and equipment, including coating lines, CNC routers, or Double End Tenoners.
• Experience with ERP systems, production reporting, safety regulations, quality standards, and manufacturing best practices.
• Ability to lead and develop diverse teams, solve problems, make decisions, and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work on the production floor, stand and walk for extended periods, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• An associate degree or higher in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

Nice to have

• Lean or Six Sigma certification, such as Green Belt or higher.
• Experience in high-volume or custom manufacturing environments.
• Exposure to ISO, OSHA, or similar compliance standards.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
