Product Manager Tech Products (Insurance Technology)

Location: Remote within the United States. An in-person interview may be required during the hiring process.

Base salary: $77,283–$179,048 USD per year, depending on location. Typical California hiring range: $123,077.70–$170,941.25.

What you will do

• Translate commercial insurance strategies and regulatory requirements into scalable technology roadmaps.
• Own roadmap initiatives and communicate progress, dependencies, risks, trade-offs, and delivery considerations.
• Maintain backlog health, ensure sprint readiness, and strengthen Agile/Scrum delivery practices.
• Write product requirements, including epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation traceability.
• Partner with engineering and program management on release planning, technical feasibility, cross-domain impacts, and delivery risks.
• Define product metrics and coordinate product, underwriting, compliance, QA, engineering, and external technology partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of product management and/or product design experience managing complex initiatives through completion.
• Experience managing the full product delivery lifecycle, from roadmap planning and requirements definition through release and improvement.
• Strong understanding of Agile software delivery, Scrum teams, backlog management, roadmap prioritization, and product metrics.
• Knowledge of property and casualty insurance technology and its integrations, dependencies, limitations, and future direction is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder-management, independent decision-making, and cross-functional coordination skills.
