Manufacturing Electrician

What you will do

• Diagnose and repair electrical systems up to 460V, AC/DC motors up to 500 HP, relay controls, motor drives, and industrial heating systems.
• Troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLC systems using Ladder Logic; Siemens experience is an advantage.
• Install and start up industrial machinery, calibrate sensors and instrumentation, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Repair heavy industrial equipment, including shafts, bearings, gearboxes, chains, belts, rollers, pumps, and compressors.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, boiler, and industrial water systems; perform basic steel welding and equipment alignment.
• Follow schematics, drawings, manuals, and instructions while maintaining housekeeping, safety, and production reliability standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of industrial electrician experience in a manufacturing or plant setting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, motors, drives, PLCs, and instrumentation.
• Ability to program or work with PLCs and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Ability to work rotating or night shifts and overtime as needed, including physical activity, confined spaces, heights, and lifting 10–50 lbs frequently.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in electronics or electricity, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Siemens PLC experience.
• Aluminum welding experience.
