Focus on diagnosing complex electrical faults, installing and commissioning new equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and local electrical codes.
Location: Onsite in Germantown, Wisconsin, United States. First-shift schedule; working hours are communicated by the manager.

What you will do
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in CNC machines, presses, conveyors, PLC-controlled equipment, and auxiliary manufacturing systems.
- Support FANUC robotics cells, including safety circuits and end-of-arm tooling.
- Install and maintain motors, VFDs, servos, encoders, motor controls, control panels, and facility power distribution systems.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to install, integrate, and commission new equipment, production lines, line moves, and process changes.
- Manage preventive maintenance and emergency repairs, document modifications, maintain electrical inventory, and minimize production downtime.
- Follow LOTO, arc-flash, energized-work, NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and local electrical-code requirements; mentor apprentices and train department employees.
Requirements
- Valid state-recognized Journeyman electrician license; Wisconsin license is a plus.
- At least 5 years of industrial or manufacturing electrical experience.
- Hands-on experience with electrical systems from low voltage through 600 volts and PLC-controlled equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in power and control systems, with the ability to read electrical schematics, ladder logic, one-lines, and machine documentation.
- Ability to safely perform lockout/tagout, confined-space, hot-work, and elevated-work procedures.
- Must establish employment eligibility and pass background checks, pre-employment testing, pulmonary-function testing, and respirator fit testing.
Nice to have
- Master Electrician license, preferably state-recognized and Wisconsin-based.
- 10+ years of industrial or manufacturing electrical experience.
- Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and OSHA standards.
- Previous experience programming FANUC robots.
