Auto Claims; Bodily Injury; PIP Claims Representative

Location: Lexington, Kentucky, United States; initial training is in person, followed by a merit-based work-from-home program determined by job responsibilities and leadership.

What you will do

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle auto, bodily injury, and PIP insurance claims.
• Handle claims throughout the full claim lifecycle, from investigation through resolution.
• Study policies, endorsements, forms, and claim-handling procedures.
• Communicate with claimants, legal counsel, third parties, agents, and insureds.
• Develop estimating and computer-based loss-adjustment skills.
• Obtain and maintain adjuster licenses when required by statute or company policy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent direct experience in property and casualty claims handling.
• Strong written and verbal communication, report-writing, organization, multitasking, and independent decision-making skills.
• Ability to resolve complex issues and work accurately with mathematical and financial information.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and data security while working with diverse groups.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to drive, and a driving record meeting company underwriting guidelines.
• Must be able to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
