Head of Real Estate, Workplace & Security

Location: Oakland, California, USA; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home

Salary: $149,600–$369,700 annually, depending on U.S. labor zone and location. The role is also eligible for incentive plan participation.

What you will do

• Develop and implement U.S. real estate strategy while providing strategic consulting for international locations.
• Optimize the global office and manufacturing footprint through site selection, lease administration, space planning, workplace design, and workplace experience programs.
• Oversee design and construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, quality control, and long-term space planning.
• Lead facilities operations, maintenance, capital projects, vendors, and service contracts to maintain safe, efficient, and compliant environments.
• Direct global physical security, access control, crisis management, executive protection, incident response, threat monitoring, and risk assessment.
• Lead a global team and advise executive leadership on security, crisis management, real estate, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience leading global corporate security, real estate, and facilities operations, with significant emphasis on real estate and corporate security.
• Experience integrating corporate security, real estate, and facilities operations under one organizational umbrella.
• Strong crisis management and emergency response expertise.
• Excellent communication, influence, strategic execution, and leadership skills in a complex multinational organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, security management, or a related field, or equivalent experience; an advanced degree is preferred.

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as CPP, CFM, or MCR.
