Brunswick New York Mills - Re-Paint - 2nd Shift

Location: New York Mills, Minnesota, United States; onsite, full-time, 2nd shift

Salary: $20.65–$21.75 per hour, plus a $2.50 shift differential

What you will do

• Clean, sand, prime, paint, and re-paint boats and parts in spray booths.
• Prepare boats for accent colors and the prime/paint process, including work in the Acid Etching area on a conveyor system.
• Move boats and parts from paint ovens using carts or overhead hanger systems.
• Inject rotation foam into boat hulls and complete required production documentation.
• Follow daily schedules, maintain process documentation, and meet quality and completion-time requirements.
• Follow safety procedures, identify workplace hazards, and maintain good housekeeping.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic math, reading, and measurement skills.
• Ability to become respirator certified and wear a fresh-air supplied respirator.
• Ability to safely handle chemicals and equipment according to established procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, safety awareness, attendance, initiative, and teamwork.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, climb stairs, work at heights, and lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds during a 10-hour shift; daily exposure to noise, dust, fumes, odors, and heat.

Nice to have

• Three months of manufacturing experience.
• Computer skills and knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, or LSS.
