Processing Technician C- Weekends (4th Shift) (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: Lakewood, New Jersey, United States; onsite weekend shift

Base pay: $32.75 per hour plus shift differential

What you will do

• Transfer semi-finished products between vessels, tote run tanks, storage tanks, and production lines.
• Perform manual additions of dry and liquid raw materials, operate multiple blenders, and prepare pre-mixes.
• Conduct washouts, purges, batch changes, sampling, labeling, and required production paperwork.
• Operate automated HMI-controlled processes, vacuum systems, hoses, tankers, batch hoppers, and the LPD skid.
• Stage batches with a forklift, manage bulk inventory in the WMS system, and complete OSHA forklift inspections.
• Handle corrosive, acidic, toxic, oxidizing, and high-temperature materials while following PPE and safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience as a compounder or batch maker in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; FDA experience is preferred.
• Chemical aptitude and experience with chemical mixing and batching processes.
• Effective English communication, basic math, strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
• Forklift certification and the ability to operate multiple blenders and automated systems.
• Must pass a respiratory fit test to wear a respirator and comply with New Jersey laws and hazardous-chemical procedures.

• Experience with WMS systems.
• Experience working in an FDA-regulated manufacturing environment.
