Process Operator - Rotating Shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd) (Chemical Processing)

Location: Onsite in Aberdeen, Maryland, USA. Rotating shifts may include 1st shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM), 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM), and 3rd shift (11:00 PM–7:30 AM), with overtime flexibility required based on business needs.

Salary: $24.92–$28.30 per hour, with opportunities to advance through a skill-based pay system.

Consumer products manufacturing company producing and distributing liquid bleach products through automated production and packaging facilities.

What you will do

• Order and receive raw materials, supplies, and parts required for production.
• Add raw materials to mixing and blending equipment and operate process equipment for liquid bleach manufacturing.
• Monitor controls, instrumentation, storage systems, tanks, pumps, piping, and production processes.
• Test raw materials and finished products and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
• Troubleshoot, repair, modify, and maintain process system equipment to minimize downtime.
• Plan production activities and, when certified, operate a train engine to move rail cars.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and a resume.
• At least 2 years of experience as a manufacturing operator, process operator, or maintenance technician.
• Knowledge of production processes, raw materials, quality control, basic mathematics, and mechanical equipment maintenance.
• Ability to work rotating 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts and overtime when required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check is required.

Nice to have

• At least 5 years of operator experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with SAP ERP and Microsoft Office 365.
• Knowledge of gears, drives, motors, and mechanical systems.
• Direct chemical processing experience.
