Outside Industrial Sales Representative

Location: Portland, Oregon, USA

Company

Manufacturer and distributor of industrial loading dock and door equipment serving warehouses, manufacturers, and distribution centers.

What you will do

• Represent industrial equipment products and services within a protected territory.
• Grow new-construction business with architects, developers, contractors, and other commercial customers.
• Manage and expand existing accounts while prospecting for new customers.
• Introduce new products and services to the territory.
• Develop territory business plans and cover the assigned territory on a daily basis.

Requirements

• Four-year degree.
• Minimum of three years of successful outside sales experience in an industrial or commercial setting.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build productive business relationships and knowledge of the assigned territory and customer base.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
