Warehouse Supervisor - Floor Operations

Location: 6155 Freemont Blvd, Mississauga, Canada; regular presence on the warehouse floor required

Salary: CAD 86,080–107,600 per year

What you will do

• Lead daily warehouse floor operations across receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, staging, loading, shipping, and inventory movement.
• Plan staffing, assign work, adjust priorities, and monitor workflow to meet service levels and shipping deadlines.
• Investigate order issues, inventory discrepancies, product damage, equipment concerns, bottlenecks, and process gaps.
• Promote safety, quality, accurate product handling, proper equipment use, and compliance with operational procedures.
• Coach, train, support performance management, monitor attendance, and resolve employee concerns involving warehouse leads and associates.
• Track operational metrics and support improvements to workflow, staffing, accuracy, safety, productivity, and service levels.

Requirements

• Experience supervising hourly employees in a warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse floor operations, including receiving, picking, staging, loading, shipping, and inventory movement.
• Leadership, coaching, communication, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office, warehouse or inventory systems, RF scanners, or similar tools.
• Availability to work the assigned shift and support overtime, weekends, holidays, or schedule changes as needed.
• Ability to work regularly on the warehouse floor in a fast-paced environment with material-handling equipment, loading docks, trailers, racking, and warehouse traffic.

Nice to have

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Lead, Team Lead, Supervisor, or similar leader.
• Experience in a unionized environment and familiarity with collective bargaining agreements.
• Experience with AS400 or similar warehouse, ERP, or inventory management systems.
• Experience using performance metrics to manage productivity, accuracy, safety, and service levels.
• Knowledge of warehouse health and safety practices and material-handling equipment.
