Shipping/Receiving Team Lead (Manufacturing)

Salary: $23.14–$31.51 per hour

What you will do

• Lead daily shipping and receiving activities, assign work, communicate schedules and goals, and maintain department performance.
• Train employees, facilitate TWI training, support performance evaluations, and perform process audits and safety sweeps.
• Manage inventory, materials, tools, fixtures, and BOM-related issues affecting the assigned area.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, supply chain, and shipping to support on-time delivery.
• Generate non-conformance reports and assist with corrective actions and non-conforming product coordination.
• Perform hands-on labor and support lean, continuous improvement, and workplace safety initiatives.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Forklift license.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, coordination, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and schematics and safely use hand and power tools.
• Intermediate MS Word and Excel skills; ERP experience is desirable.

Nice to have

• Experience leading a team.
• Completed or ongoing technical college or university education.
