Manufacturing Engineering Technician III (Lean Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Install, test, and commission capital manufacturing equipment according to manufacturer and hirify.global procedures.
• Execute project tasks on schedule, maintain control of project materials, and coordinate contract labor and vendor installation teams.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing adoption and support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
• Lead or support Kaizen, Six Sigma, and 5S workshops and facilitate root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Create and maintain manufacturing routings and perform cycle-time and time-study analyses.
• Provide technical and cross-training for process leaders, line mechanics, and operating teams across all shifts.

Requirements

• Associate of Applied Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology.
• 3–5 years of experience in an industrial operations setting or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, or machinist work and detailed knowledge of manufacturing machinery, equipment, materials, and tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical problem-solving, organization, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and within teams in a fast-paced, high-pressure manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and sit or stand for up to 95% of working hours.

Nice to have

• Refrigerant Handling License.
• Lean Six Sigma training.
• Additional supervisory or leadership training.
