Continuous Improvement Engineer (Lean Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Identify improvement opportunities through plant and office data collection and observation, and maintain the improvement event funnel.
• Facilitate and coach Kaizen and Rapid Improvement events for cross-functional teams.
• Partner with functional leaders and frontline teams to improve daily management metrics.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to implement operational improvements.
• Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators, and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Assist with equipment improvement and maintenance initiatives and contribute to the company-wide continuous improvement network.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to continuous improvement concepts.
• Working knowledge of 5S and visual management, Value Stream Mapping, problem solving, daily management, standard work, and Kanban.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data-driven decision-making and translating findings into actionable improvements.
• Ability to collaborate with operators, supervisors, engineers, and leadership, and communicate the CI strategy and roadmap.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
