TL;DR
Senior Manager Secondary Math Curriculum (K-12 Mathematics): Leading the implementation and continuous improvement of standards-aligned mathematics curriculum and instruction across grades 6–12 with an accent on professional learning, instructional coaching, and data-driven improvement. Focus on developing aligned curriculum frameworks, facilitating instructional reviews, and improving student achievement outcomes.

Location: Jacksonville, Florida, USA. Full-time, year-round position with typical hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; hours may vary according to school schedules and organizational priorities.

Starting salary: $62,000 per year, excluding potentially eligible stipends.

What you will do

  • Lead the implementation, continuous improvement, and strategic development of secondary mathematics curriculum and instruction across grades 6–12.
  • Develop and facilitate region-wide professional development for teachers, instructional coaches, and school leaders.
  • Develop and revise horizontally and vertically aligned K–12 mathematics frameworks and curriculum calendars.
  • Ensure curriculum alignment with standards and state assessments and analyze regional achievement data to identify instructional needs.
  • Conduct instructional reviews, coach teachers and content leaders, and create exemplar lessons to strengthen instructional delivery.
  • Monitor mathematics intervention, instructional technology, and math lab programs across schools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least four years of relevant K–12 mathematics teaching experience.
  • Experience leading or influencing adults through teaching, coaching, professional development, content leadership, or administration.
  • Florida teaching certificate in the relevant area or equivalent certification for Math 6–12.
  • Demonstrated strong student achievement results in science.
  • Strong collaboration, public speaking, writing, technology, and adaptability skills; successful completion of a required background screening.

Nice to have

  • Experience teaching mathematics in Florida in a tested or assessed grade level.
  • Previous experience as an instructional coach or content specialist.
  • Experience with Eureka curriculum.
  • Relevant master’s degree.
