Director, Data Driven Leadership Middle Schools

Location: San Antonio, Texas, USA. Hybrid work requires reporting to the central office or schools three days a week, with regular travel between campuses, regional offices, and external locations.

What you will do

• Lead a culture of data use and continuous improvement across middle schools.
• Coach regional and school leaders to analyze performance data, identify gaps, diagnose root causes, and improve student achievement and high school readiness.
• Develop annual goals, milestones, success metrics, and accountability-aligned strategies for middle schools.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis and create data visualizations, reports, and recurring leadership insights.
• Build progress-monitoring systems and routines for academic growth, achievement, STAAR performance, grade-level mastery, Algebra readiness, and high school readiness.
• Support leaders in communicating data findings and translating strategic goals into instructional actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Exceptional data analysis skills, including trend interpretation, root-cause analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
• Strong understanding of foundational statistics, curriculum and instruction, and progress monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, coaching, influencing, project management, and execution skills.
• Strategic judgment, ownership, problem-solving ability, cultural competence, and commitment to educational equity.
• Reliable transportation and availability for regular travel between campuses; ability to attend meetings and training both virtually and in person.
