What you will do

• Plan daily lessons and design intentional curriculum for elementary students.
• Analyze student data regularly to support learning and growth.
• Teach Social Emotional Learning lessons and implement Restorative Practices.
• Build a joyful, inclusive, and anti-racist classroom community.
• Collaborate with the school Leadership Team and Instructional Coach through weekly meetings and ongoing feedback.

Requirements

• Experience teaching students with demographics similar to the KIPP Northern California student community.
• Hold a B.A. or B.S. degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Hold a valid teaching credential in the desired subject, or qualify for a Provisional Internship Permit or Short Term Staff Permit.
• Demonstrate strong content-area knowledge and relationship-building skills with students, families, and communities.
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
• Have proficient knowledge of Google Suite applications and the ability to use instructional technology such as Zoom and Nearpod.
