Math Instructor - Treasure Island

Location: Treasure Island, California, United States; full-time, onsite

Salary: USD 74,052.94–82,765.05 per year

What you will do

• Deliver GED and CASAS reading and math preparation, as well as high school diploma coursework.
• Facilitate one-to-one and small-group instruction tailored to individual learning needs.
• Monitor student progress, including math gains and CASAS/GED achievements.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with course objectives and competency-based instruction.
• Maintain attendance records, weekly reports, lesson documentation, and case notes in CIS.
• Support student retention, workplace behavior, staff training, meetings, and a clean and safe learning environment.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in education or a related field, or proven experience as an instructor.
• Knowledge of youth development and effective youth-adult partnerships.
• Experience in curriculum development, implementation, and instruction.
• Strong writing, speaking, analytical, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, balance multiple priorities, and work with diverse groups.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Google Business Suite experience is preferred.
