Clinic RN (Oncology)

Location: Onsite in Round Rock, Texas at the Round Rock clinic. Full-time Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, with no weekends, call, or major holidays.

What you will do

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote continuity of patient care.
• Assess patients' health status, medical history, and psychosocial needs.
• Provide patient and family education, instructional materials, and psychosocial support.
• Manage medication refill requests, triage patient calls, and document information in patient charts.
• Schedule consultations, diagnostic tests, procedures, referrals, and follow-up appointments.
• Coordinate communication with families and interdisciplinary teams, connect patients with community resources, and support LPNs/LVNs and medical assistants.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license and registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
• Level 1: 0-3 years of nursing experience, preferably including at least one year in oncology.
• Level 2: 3-5 years of nursing experience; oncology certification preferred.
• Senior level: five years of nursing experience.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
