Maintenance Mechanic I (Medical Device Manufacturing)

Location: Clinton, PA, United States; onsite, full-time

What you will do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair molding machines, automated assembly equipment, welders, conveyors, case sealers, printers, labelers, flow wrappers, and auxiliary production equipment.
• Use diagrams, schematics, manuals, engineering specifications, precision measuring instruments, gauges, and hand tools to locate and resolve equipment problems.
• Perform, verify, and document preventive maintenance according to manufacturer schedules, policies, procedures, and facility guidelines.
• Fabricate new fixturing and modify existing equipment to support production requirements.
• Support production associates and coordinate with operators, engineering, management, and outside contractors.
• Recommend and implement process, efficiency, and workplace safety improvements while maintaining required production and maintenance documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar production-environment role.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical production equipment and use measuring and testing instruments.
• Ability to comply with GMPs, SOPs, MIs, SIs, escalation procedures, and facility requirements.
• Associate's, bachelor's, technical degree, certification, or related apprenticeship preferred.
• Maintenance experience in medical device manufacturing preferred.
