Senior UX Engineer (React)

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; onsite work

What you will do

• Develop, test, and maintain performant, scalable frontend applications with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Build reusable modular components, component libraries, and design systems for digital products.
• Collaborate with designers on interaction patterns, usability, visual detail, and accessibility aligned with WCAG.
• Lead frontend architecture and performance optimization using lazy loading, code splitting, Lighthouse, and Chrome DevTools.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services through REST APIs and WebSockets.
• Prototype AI-powered features, integrate AI APIs, lead code reviews, establish coding standards, and mentor engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of front-end-focused software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, TypeScript, HTML, and SCSS/SASS/CSS.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, modern build tools, Git, state management, and web security principles.
• Experience with Figma, design system thinking, atomic design, design tokens, and component libraries.
• Experience using AI coding tools, prompt engineering, context management, and critically evaluating AI output.
• Fluent English communication skills in both verbal and written communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with Angular, Lightning Web Components, SVG frameworks, BabylonJS, Three.js, or Azure-based architectures.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Agile/Scrum methodology, and frontend vulnerability prevention.
