Senior UI Engineer (React)

What you will do

• Build scalable, interactive web applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, enterprise cloud systems, and web services.
• Architect frontend experiences integrated with Adobe Experience Manager and support seamless component delivery and CMS functionality.
• Collaborate with UX, visual design, QA, strategy, and global clients to assess feasibility, refine requirements, and implement Figma designs.
• Develop accessible, responsive applications aligned with W3C, WCAG, and ARIA standards.
• Optimize Core Web Vitals, conduct Lighthouse audits, participate in code reviews, and apply object-oriented and specification-driven development practices.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers, troubleshoot complex issues, and support post-launch enhancements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering experience in agile environments delivering large-scale web projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Sass or modern CSS preprocessors.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL services, with strong object-oriented programming and software design knowledge.
• Knowledge of WCAG/ARIA, inclusive design, Core Web Vitals, and Lighthouse audits.
• Advanced English proficiency at C1+ level is required for global team and client collaboration. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required; engineering degree holders in Colombia may need to present a professional license.

Nice to have

• Experience with AEM Edge Delivery Services, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, CDN or edge deployments, databases, and Docker.
• Familiarity with Spec-Driven Development, Agentic Engineering practices, and AI developer tools such as Claude Code.
• Experience with healthcare projects, frontend web animations, or motion design.
