Senior Frontend Engineer - Platform Architecture (React)

Location: Hybrid in Palo Alto, California, United States, with three onsite days each week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Compensation: $160K–$200K annually plus equity.

What you will do

• Build a reusable, modular frontend platform for tools, dashboards, and customer-facing experiences.
• Design and implement scalable, user-centric web solutions with maintainable and performant code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, users, and healthcare professionals to define, design, and ship features.
• Own, maintain, and scale frontend features throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing and engineering scalable frontend architectures.
• Experience creating reusable component libraries, applying principled state management patterns, and optimizing performance.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript, React, HTML5, CSS3, and related frontend technologies.
• Proficiency with Webpack and Vite.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Availability to work onsite in Palo Alto three days per week is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deploying web applications at scale.
• Experience using CI/CD for experimentation and safe deployment strategies.
• Experience using AI for code generation and feature development.
• Experience developing healthcare applications or related products.
